Strait Lumber has been a community leader since our opening in 1936. From our inception we have been an active supporter of our local Aurora community. Throughout the years, we have supported many projects for the City of Aurora, Aurora Schools, Kiwanis, Elks, and Aurora Jaycees. We have received recognitions many times over for our various sponsorships or community baseball, football, basketball, and bowling teams. We have been a strong supporter of Friends of Man, an organization which provides fundamental services for people of all ages in the Denver community.
At Strait Lumber Co., we understand the need to give back to the Aurora community that has supported us through the years. We are a proud sponsor of organizations such as the National Camps for Blind Children, Habitat for Humanity, Denver Works, St. Vincent Orphanage, Bud's Warehouse, and Peer 1. We also contribute to the PCL paint-a-thon, various Eagle Scout projects, like those of Brent Dorschner and Skyler Choice, and have donated to the I.S. Building at Colorado State University. At Strait Lumber we understand the value of the community around us and we put serving people first.
